Description
The EVID-C6.2 is a low profile, complete two-way ceiling speaker. The loudspeaker features a waveguide coupled titanium coated dome tweeter, UL 94V-0 bezel assembly, grille, zinc plated steel rear enclosure, 6.5″ coax two-way loudspeaker, and an internal line-matching transformer. Utilizing a second order crossover network at 2.5 kHz provides a comprehensive protection circuit for the network, woofer, and tweeter drivers from excessive power levels. The built-in transformer also offers a selection of 1.88 (70-V only), 3.75, 7.5 or 15 watts delivered to the loudspeaker system using either 70-V or 100-V lines, or 8 ohm bypass. The low profile enclosure makes it easy to mount into tight spaces and the rear panel—with provisions for a junction box fitting—cover panel allows quick access to the 4-pin terminal block; which can connect directly to the speaker with 12 gauge wire and provides pass through to additional speakers. Wide dispersion, high efficiency, maximum output, and ease of installation make the EVID-C4.2LP a wise fit for a wide-range reproduction of voice or music.
